Event Description :Daydream Island Living Reef LagoonDaydream Island is home to the largest open living reef lagoon in the Southern Hemisphere. It features more than 80 species of marine fish and 50 species of coral. Every day at 10.00am they operate a free fishing feeding and reef appreciation show that goes for approximately 30 minutes. This show captures an audience of all ages, and this is a fantastic way to experience the Great Barrier Reef without getting wet. Wanting to get up close and personal well why not experience the Living Reef Lagoon on a private tour. The Guided Fish Feeding tour is your chance to get close and personal with our amazing marine life. See and touch the baby sharks, Stingrays and Sea Stars with the resident marine biologists. $25 per adult, $15 per child and $60 per family (2A & 2C). Stingray Splash Walk amongst the baby stingrays and the friendly baby bamboo sharks. The experienced marine biologists will guide you through this amazing and very unique educational experience. $38 per person (minimum age is 6years) A Full Day Trip to Daydream Island including lunch is available daily. The day trip prices are as follows: Boathouse Bakery Lunch $108.00 per adult and $72.00 per child Mermaids Restaurant Lunch $125.00 per adult and $77.00 per child A 10% discount applies when booking 2 adults and 2 children (aged 4 - 14 years) A return ferry transfer to Daydream Island from the Port of Airlie is $80.00 per adult and $54.00 per child.
